Mawalah Mosque has a total build-up area of around 2500square meters .The mosque comprises of the main prayer hall, ladies prayer hall, main minaret along with abolition areas and other facilities. With a totally modern style, the dome will be covered with colorful glass having verses scripts of the holy Quran and enormous arches on the three sides of the mosque with a very impressive oriental Islamic ornaments shaping a unique combination of the historical figures with a touch of contemporary architecture.   A handmade glass design patterned the name of “Allah” in a very special writing is placed in the center of each elevation. The minaret has a square shape with 54 meters height makes it one of the tallest minarets in the sultanate. In addition, the top of the main prayer hall dome is 41 meters above ground level.
